Cox Hallett Wilkinson (“CHW”) has advised Continental Gold Limited, a Bermuda-based gold exploration company, in relation to its amalgamation with Cronus Resources Ltd., an Ontario corporation listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
The firm also advised in relation to the subsequent listing of the amalgamated company, called Continental Gold Limited, which commenced trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on 19 April.
The CHW team, led by Jonathan Betts, advised on all the Bermuda aspects of the amalgamation, including a $28,750,000 pre-amalgamation financing conducted by Continental Gold in January 2010. The Canadian legal advisers to Continental Gold were Peterson Law Professional Corporation with Fogler, Rubinoff LLP advising Cronus.
