Cox Hallett Wilkinson ("CHW") has advised Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board ("OTPPB") in connection with a US$120 million private placement by Mitra Energy Limited.
The CHW team of Natalie Town and Alison Dymond advised OTPPB on the Bermuda law issues arising from its US$99 million share subscription.
Mitra Energy Limited is a privately owned oil and gas exploration company that is striving to be the leading oil and gas exploration and production company in the Asia-Pacific region.
OTPPB, the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada, invests the pension fund’s assets and administers the pensions of 289,000 active and retired teachers in Ontario.
